Nung isang beses, nag-usap si Hangin at Araw.

Tapos nun, naghanap sila.

E di hinawaka niya damit niya, ayaw niyang tanggalin kasi sobrang lamig.

Tinanggal niya damit niya.

Once, the Wind and the Sun had a talk.

The Wind said, “Sun, I’m stronger than you!”

Then, the Sun said, “No, I’m stronger than you!”

“Let’s go see who’s stronger.”

After that, they went to search.

Then, a man passed by.

The Wind said, “Hey Sun, let’s do it like this.”

“Let’s see who among the two of us can make the man remove his clothes first.”

Then, the Sun said “Alright then.”

Then, the Wind came first.”

The Wind approached the man and blew and blew.

The man, because he felt cold, wrapped his clothes tighter around himself.

He refused to remove them because it was so cold.

Then the Sun said, “Turns out you can’t remove his clothes after all, it’s my turn,” the Sun said.

Then, it was the Sun’s turn.

The Sun shone and shone until it was so hot.

Then the man, because of the heat, removed all his clothes.

He removed his clothes.

Then, when the Sun saw the man remove his clothes, he was overjoyed.

“My god, I won!”

Then, he went to the Wind.

“Hey, Wind, I’m stronger than you after all.

You weren’t able to remove his clothes, but I was able to remove them all.”

So they agreed that the Sun was stronger than the Wind.
